LASIK ( Excimer Laser )

     Lasik is a perfect technique for refractive disorders ( myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism ) It is performed by reshaping the cornea with the help of EXCIMER LASER.
   
   People aged 18 – 60 without any serious systemic diseases and eye problems can undergo this treatment. Before this treatment, detailed eye examination, corneal topography, pachimetry, pupillometry and aberometry is required. Soft contact lenses must be disontinued 1 week prior to surgery ( 3 weeks for hard and rigid gas-permeable lenses ) After treatment, for 3 – 4 hours burning and redness is accepted as normal.
   
   Drops are used every 1 – 2 hours until bed-time. Mostly patients are able to drive the day after.
